Ideal for weather [rain] affected lentils that have severely lodged.
These little lifters - mounted at 9 inch spacings will lift plants off the ground, allowing the finger reel to get the knife under the crop, and into the header.
Similar lifters [on a J/D] successfully picked up lentils after 6 inches of rain in 2010/11 on Wimmera black plains.[Wettest Summer period on record!].
