For sale: 15kVA (15kW) tractor PTO-driven generator plus a purpose-built heavy-duty steel moving dolly.
This generator was used reliably as backup for an off-grid solar system, most recently in January 2026, handling sustained 4kW+ charging sessions over multiple hours without issues. It has no known electrical faults and was running well when last used.
Please note: My tractor currently has a faulty PTO clutch so I'm unable to demonstrate it running. Priced accordingly — sold as-is.
Generator features:
• 15kVA / ~12kW continuous output
• 540 RPM PTO driven (requires a tractor with suitable PTO output)
• 20A industrial weatherproof socket (Voltex AS/NZS 3123, 250V 50Hz)
• 4x standard 240V AUS sockets (3 of 4 working)
• Circuit breakers and voltmeter on control panel
Known issue: Straight-cut gear speed multiplier — noisier than helical gears, but completely normal for this design and does not affect function.
The steel dolly is heavy-duty fabricated steel and makes moving the unit easy. If you bring your own tractor, you're welcome to test it on-site.
