Vortex White Suffolk & Charollais Stud Quality Charollais Rams for sale. Rams are high percentage Charollais rams with a small percentage of White Suffolk genetics. Rams are young, born between mid July to mid September and ready to work. Charollais are one of the easiest lambing breeds and highest meat yielding breeds with yields of 50-55% achievable. Their high meat yields make them perfect for the hook job and are desired by the abattoirs making it easier to get your lambs booked in. Charollais have short downs wool with a clean breach, legs and head which makes improves their resistance to seed contamination and fly strike. They are a French breed and one of the main terminal sires in The UK, Ireland and Europe and quickly growing in popularity in Australia and New Zealand due to their high performance. They are ideal over all breeds and all ages. Perfect for joining Merinos, Lambs and Maiden ewes due to their small birth weight. Charollais have excellent survivability and twinning percentages. Their hybrid vigor and growth fast growth rates result in the production of high quality lambs. We are a registered stud with ASSBA and Australian Charollais Sheep association. Rams have a thorough vaccination history to make them more reliable and perform better for longer. We are Brucellosis Accredited.
