2 year old desexed male Australian Cattle Dog looking for a full time job on working farm (ideally). This guy has a high drive and incredible natural instincts which just aren’t being satisfied in the city.
He has spent his first two years with regular obedience training, event detection work and high activity levels.
He’s a smaller stature than the big heavy Cattle Dogs - coming in at around 19kgs. He’s small but has balls of steel and would love to get around some livestock but would need a handler/owner who’s consistent and willing to teach him the ropes. Ideally his future owner would understand the unique nature of an ACD and be able to provide in the space and stimulation he needs and deserves.
I do not want money for him but will make sure he is going to a good home to a good human.
He is not socialised with young children and if you know anything about Cattle dogs you will know they will always see them as potential livestock and very much are a one man (or woman) dog. Please do not comment if you are looking for a family dog - this dog deserves a job, space and a steady handler willing to find their ultimate working companion.
He would do great with a livestock truck driver helping loading and offloading as he would on a property.
