An extremely quiet 7 year old pure bred Poll Hereford with a beautiful temperament, very easy to handle and work with.
Born in the Rollands Plains region (30 mins west of Port Macquarie) at a Hereford Stud Farm located along the Hastings River. AI bred from an Embryo, at around 2 years of age made his way to our property on the Northern Rivers, NSW (just out of Ulmarra near Grafton).
He has spent his days on the farm here with regular human contact (at least every couple of days), and been run with a mixed herd. Would have conservatively produced 15 to 20 calves per year both on our property and while sired out. Always produced a very nice healthy calves.
Never had any major injuries or illness other than typical farm scrapes etc. Has received regular inspections when being yarded, and treatments for flies etc.
Winter pasture feeding is supplemented with a mix of Lucerne / Molasses / Cotton Seed so remains healthy year round. Never been through a severe drought.
He isn't aggressive, though does have the occasional Mexican Stand-Off with the neighbours' Bull (nothing serious, more like name-calling over the fence and just showing off in front of the girls). Has never gone through a fence in anger... only in search of love!
Loves a good head rub, favourite snacks; Large Toasting Marshmallows though also enjoys Kit-Kats, Jam Tarts & Carrots!
Bull is a part of our extended family, always a welcome sight on the property and is a great leader of the herd, but now needs to go to a good home as he is a couple of generations in and now related to too many of the local ladies. Given his easy life here, should definitely have another 3 or 4 years minimum of good breeding.
Will be sadly missed and we are certain he will bring a lot of smiles to any new owners.
If you would like to come and meet "Bull", get in touch and we would be very happy to introduce you and show you some of his offspring.
If you purchase him you will need to arrange transport.
