Single working race Allows operator access to both sides of the stock. All races have a smooth top
to ensure drenching hoses from getting snagged and provides a comfortable
surface when operating the race. Each race panel can be easily removed to fit
handling equipment.
Working race width Standard race width is 600mm (centre of posts)
Tumble swing gates Quick & easy to operate block gates used in handling races and draft races .
They pivot from the centre of the post and roll out towards the operator, swing
flush against the fence. Gate has vertical rails, eliminating the risk of sheep
breaking a leg if they attempt to jump the gate .
Adjustable V drafting race Can be adjusted to suit the type of sheep being drafted. Makes drafting quicker
and easier as sheep are in single file.
Hand safe drafting gates Provides protection for the person drafting . These gates also have a leading
rubberised post to minimise noise.
Lever haz catch An upgrade for sheeprail and ram breeder gates, often implemented in the
working area or hard to reach gates. Can be operated with a rope pull, can be
locked open in one movement and springs back into place when released.
Catch closes into a fitted pocket
Strip sheeting Strip sheeting strategically placed on gates to prevent animal injury.
Access gates Short access gates with a catch and spring on one side keeping the gate shut
with minimal effort and stops sheep getting through .
Diamond yards Allows easy transfer of stock between four adjoining holding yards while
removing corners from adjoining pens. Small enough for catching and marking
lambs.
