For sale: Commercial barley fodder/microgreens growing equipment. Modelled off a US $70, 000 system from Foddertech which is the best in the world. This system from Foddertech is pictured.
Priced at the bargain price . I sourced all the components from China 5 years ago and it cost me around $6000. Priced to sell as I need the cash now.
Leave MOULD problems behind. Most barley fodder growers fight a continual battle with mould. This system eliminates the problem by using flood to drain trays so that only the roots are watered and a commercial air purification and mould inhibition system. (Most systems in Australia are in trays sprayed from above and very prone to mould.)
You will need an insulated 20’ shipping container or refrigerated truck body to house the equipment. These are widely available. For example North East Isuzu truck wreckers sell them for $1500 to $2000.
Full instructions and advice with the setup is provided. This system has 24 flood to drain trays in 6 levels. Each tray is 4m x 20cm in growing area.
These setup components are brand new, although out of warranty. (A test prototype was set up and worked very well.)
