2021 Vetch Mix Hay
48% Popany Vetch
48% Balansa Clover
4% 970 grazing canola
We sowed the vetch at 50kg. We put 2kg of Balansa out to help bulk up and fill the gaps. Had the perfect season for it and it ended up growing as much bulk as the vetch. We also put 0.5kg of canola out with it the help stand it all up and encourage growth.
Was cut with a twin conditioner and hit very hard so there are nil issues with the canola.
The Hay got a lot of rain in the windrow, but still has some colour in it.
Was gap stacked outside for a period of time due to canola regrowth, but was in the shed before getting any rain on it in the Bale
Freight is available.
All weather access and certified weigh bridge on farm.
