Spring 2025 pasture silage. Bales are 500kg, 4 x 4 round bales. AFIA grade B3 which denotes 'good to medium quality'. Predominantly barley grass with approximately 15% lucerne and other grasses in the mix including rye and a small amount of silver grass. Been fed to cattle, sheep and goats who have all found the silage to be very palatable and have done well on it. Any seed heads present are soft and sterilized via the silage making process. Smell is sweet and aromatic.
