High productivity stand. Was grazed into winter and allowed later winter cleaning and selective cleaning, resulting in a
super clean crop that was able to avoid majority of wet weather of a tricky 2022 (15mm on large windrow) , and capture good curing conditions. Medic in paddock was retained and complemented the quality of this hay. Cut as per photo at 5-10% flower and raked a couple of times, excellent retention of leaf. 6 string bales of excellent shape and consistency.
Approx bale weight 610kg. Stored in shed on plastic from day of baling. Retains good colour and smell. Very low number of Milk thistle.
