HOW IT WORKS
CS N-Drive is a nitrogen enhancement product designed for use in conjunction with synthetic nitrogen in-furrow to improve
nitrogen stability, availability, and overall crop uptake efficiency. Containing 8% organic nitrogen in the form of amino acids,
proteins, and peptides derived from plant and animal sources, CS N-Drive is designed to support both immediate nitrogen function and longer-term nitrogen cycling in the soil and within the plant. Synthetic nitrogen provides the readily available nitrogen required for early crop uptake and strong growth, while also acting as a carrier in-furrow at higher rates to help reduce phosphorus binding and support phosphorus availability. Organic nitrogen provides a biologically active nitrogen reserve that supports microbial development, stimulates nitrogen cycling in the soil, and supports nitrogen metabolism and utilisation within the plant. CS N-Drive supports nitrogen cycling in the soil through microbial activity and in the plant through improved nitrogen metabolism, movement, and utilisation. Its biostimulant activity promotes microbial activity in the rhizosphere, helping stimulate additional nitrogen release in response to plant root exudates and seasonal crop requirement, while also supporting the plant’s ability to use and cycle nitrogen more effectively through growth stages. When used alongside synthetic nitrogen, CS N-Drive supports improved nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), contributes an organic nitrogen reserve, and enhances the cycling and availability of nitrogen through the season.

DESIGN AND COMPOSITION
CS N-Drive is a nitrogen enhancement technology formulated for use in conjunction with synthetic nitrogen in-furrow. It is designed to improve nitrogen stability, nitrogen availability, and nitrogen use efficiency within broadacre production systems.
CS N-Drive contains 8% organic nitrogen derived from plant and animal sources in the form of amino acids, proteins, and peptides.

ROLE AND FUNCTION
Synthetic nitrogen provides the immediately available nitrogen needed for early crop uptake, early vigour, and rapid growth response. In-furrow, synthetic nitrogen also acts as a carrier at higher rates, helping reduce phosphorus binding and support
phosphorus availability. Organic nitrogen provides a biologically active nitrogen reserve that supports microbial activity, contributes to nitrogen cycling in the soil, and supports nitrogen metabolism, redistribution, and utilisation within the plant. It plays a complementary role to synthetic nitrogen in supporting crop demand and nitrogen efficiency through the season.
CS N-Drive is designed to enhance the performance of synthetic nitrogen in the furrow, improve nitrogen stability and crop
availability, support nitrogen cycling in the soil and within the plant, stimulate microbial activity associated with root exudate demand, provide an additional pool of organic nitrogen for crop and soil function, and improve overall nitrogen use efficiency (NUE). CS N-Drive supports nitrogen cycling in the soil through microbial activity and in the plant through improved nitrogen metabolism, movement, and utilisation. Used together with synthetic nitrogen, CS N-Drive supports improved nitrogen capture and utilisation by the crop, increased microbial development and nutrient turnover in the soil, additional nitrogen supply through biological cycling, and stronger synchronisation between nitrogen supply and crop demand. It also supports nitrogen movement, metabolism, and reuse within the plant through the growing season.

For example where 20 L/ha of UAN is applied, match with 20 L/ha or greater of CS N-Drive, depending on crop budget and nitrogen program requirements. Additional Cropping Solutions products may also be incorporated in-furrow to further support crop establishment, nutrient efficiency, plant health, and seasonal performance. Growers should discuss their program with the Cropping Solutions team to build the most effective combination for their farming system.
