Description

Weedmaster DST Herbicide

Active Ingredient: Glyphosate (Potassium & Mono-Ammonium Salt) @ 470g/L

Weedmaster DST Herbicide is a water-soluble glyphosate herbicide for non-selective control of many annual and perennial weeds in conservation tillage and other situations. It is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems and moves through the plant from the point of contact to and into the root system.

Weedmaster DST Herbicide is a high-strength dual glyphosate salt formulation with a specialised surfactant package and extensive registrations to control over 175 weeds in various situations. The important difference between Weedmaster DST Herbicide and other glyphosate formulations is that it uses those two bases to form soluble glyphosate salts, the unique Dual Salt Technology (DST) process. The inclusion of mono-ammonium salt along with a unique surfactant package accelerates the progress of glyphosate through the cuticle into the plant sap transport system.

With its Dual Salt Technology formulation and superior surfactant package, Weedmaster DST Herbicide delivers Improved performance in difficult conditions plus Enhanced compatibility with other tank-mix partners. Weedmaster DST Herbicide gives a fast brownout across a wide range of weeds.

Weedmaster DST Herbicide will control emerged weeds only and provides no residual weed control. Treatments should be applied to weeds that have at least one true leaf (broadleaf weeds) or two leaves (grasses) to provide an adequate surface area for herbicide uptake. Weedmaster DST Herbicide may be used prior to sowing any crop (edible or non-edible) but not prior to transplanting tomato seedlings.

Effects may not be apparent for 3–7 days (annual weeds) or 2–3 weeks (perennial weeds) or longer under cool, cloudy conditions.

A withholding period for grazing stock is not required in most situations (except as listed in the withholding periods section). However, it is recommended that grazing of treated plants be delayed for one day after treatment of annual weeds, or 7 days if perennial weeds are present, to ensure absorption of Weedmaster DST.
