Forest Springs Merino's, Landsborough, Vic held its first every open cry auction in their 4th on-property sale Thursday week ago.
Bruce Dean and his family offered up 60 Rams of which 55 sold to a top price of $3300.
Kevin Hynam, Hynam Poll Merino's, Longwood, Vic purchased the top priced lot and described the Ram as “not the biggest sheep of the lot, but he’s got good muscle and fat figures, has also been tested as a double Poll. His Wool is white and bold, which is what we’re looking to achieve.”
The average for the sale was $1168 and gross came in at $64,240 for the Dean family
