Another successful online Clearing Sale Auction result

We started doing Auctions through our Farm Tender platform nearly twelve months ago now. I am glad we started then.

Since on-Farm Clearing Sales have been restricted or abolished due to Coronavirus, it has become a trend to have Clearing Sales online, and I don't think it's going back.

Yesterday we completed our second, fully blown Online Clearing Sale, and it was another excellent result for the vendors. This one was in Gippsland, and we did it in conjunction with the Heyfield Lions Club, who were a pleasure to work with.

As far as the numbers are concerned, we set the reserves at a total of $471k, and the sale grossed $640k, with only a couple of lots missing the reserve. We are confident we will sell these items in the next day or so.

Amazingly, from the 185 lots presented, over a time period from 8 am Wednesday, to 8 pm Thursday, we had 9595 bids.

I know there has been plenty of other successful Clearing Sales held through other Agents on Auctionplus, but we think ours can capture an even wider audience with Auctionsplus's 136k unique monthly users and our 155k unique monthly users combined. Both parties draw clients from all around Australia.

A good initiative that came out of this particular Auction was the drone footage in lot and line order. Everyone was able to pinpoint the lot they were interested in, but from a different angle.
