Bale Up Hayfeeders are the future in feeding hay, hay is kept up off the ground in a cradle suspended above a rolled corrigated zincalume floor which directs fallen feed to the edge of the feeder, Cattle put their heads through the angled dividers and eat from the cradle, any dropped feed lands on the floor, off the ground and away from ground moisture, pathogens and bacteria. As the original designer and builder of this style of feeder in Australia we have refined and developed them to what you see today. At around 11 feet long and nearly 8 feet wide they easily hold 2 round bales or a large square, easily transported with standard prongs on a front end loader, We have done away with the need for any "shields" through having a feeder long enough to keep hay away from the edge.
Our feeders feature a built in hungry board of 150 x 50 mm rhs, no more busted off boards that will probably never be replaced, this also allows the feeders to be tipped over for cleaning.
We work on having only 5% waste, these feeders pay for themselves. Unlike our competitors who claim "made in Australia" when they are flat packed from china, we build from scratch in Oz using Australian manufactured steel, yes we are slightly dearer, but with 114metres of steel in each unit compared with 75m in our competitors chinese feeders, our sections are generally larger and our skids are heavier, compare apples with apples please,{ no frozen berries where eaten during the making of our feeders} with over 400 feeders saving money for our customers allready, the proof is in the paddock!
